In groups of 3-4, you will be doing a project on a significant conflict that occurred in Africa. Groups will choose one of the following:
- South Africa - Apartheid
- Rwanda - Genocide
- Sudan - Darfur Conflict (Genocide)
- Nigeria - Boko Haram
Each group will complete a Google Slide presentation that includes the following information, and will present it to the class:
- A map showing the country where the conflict occurred
- A map of the continent of Africa that highlights the country
- A map of just the country
- Describe the conflict (What happened?)
- Include 3-4 statistics
- How did the United States react to this conflict? (Give 1 example)
- 5-6 photos (include the URL for each photo on the Works Cited slide)
- A Works Cited slide
