The school was challenged with the library and its role in an ever changing technology driven world, but the solution was to provide a gathering space for individual and peer work, reference and collaboration in a comfortable setting. Finishes and furnishings in this space support the architecture and building shape and create a dynamic environment: the carpet tile floor pattern, suspended acoustical clouds, boomerang shaped work surfaces and library stacks support an orientation that draws you into the space and still captures the view beyond the curtain wall.
