Saving Data

iCloud Backup

Are you backing up your critical data?  The simplest way to do this is using iCloud on your iPad.  Turn on this feature by going to:
  • Settings --> iCloud --> Storage & Backup --> and setting iCloud Backup to ON.

This helps ensure we can restore this data should your iPad become lost or damaged and unusable.

Lost iPad!

Can't find your iPad?
1. Check the Main Office to see if someone turned it in.
2. Use the Find feature on iCloud.com on a computer to see if you can locate your iPad
3. If iCloud.com shows it as "offline" then choose it from the Devices and put it in "Lost Mode" to have it display a phone number (yours or your parents) to call if it is found.
4. Need help? Go to I-111 Information Technology Office

Care and Cleaning

To clean your iPad, unplug all cables and turn off iPad (press and hold the Sleep/Wake button, and then slide the onscreen slider).

Use a soft, slightly damp, lint-free cloth. Avoid getting moisture in openings. Don’t use window cleaners, household cleaners, aerosol sprays, solvents, alcohol, ammonia, or abrasives to clean iPad.

iPad has an oleophobic coating on the screen; simply wipe iPad’s screen with a soft, lint-free cloth to remove oil left by your hands.
