  • Visiting Master (visiting instructor) at ‘Iolani School for school year 1967/68 while on sabbatical from Taft Junior High School (Washington, D.C.)
  • Taught Upper School English
  • Introduced a new course in Poetry
  • Served as an advisor for the student newspaper, Imua Iolani, along with another faculty member
  • Arranged two poetry reading events with the intent of encouraging student awareness of poetry and poetry reading as art.
  • Ms. Kendrick was a poet. At the time of her appointment at ‘Iolani School her poems had been published in a variety of magazines.
